The Royal - Day 9 - The Final Weekend of The Fair

Here's what you need to know today from the 97th Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, on now until Sunday, November 10

Good morning!

Here's your daily dose of "last chance to check out the Fair!" Today is historically the biggest and busiest day of the Fair - loads of families and competitors will be on-site today for some delightfully country camera opportunities.

1. The Royal "Family Friendly Dog and Pony Show!"

Today at 1:00 p.m. you can catch a Royal Horse Show that's geared for families, with the Horse Show Matinee. It's literally a DOG AND PONY SHOW! Plus - wander the Fair before or after the Show since tickets include general Fair admission. The lineup includes:

K9-Equine Relay Challenge
Uplands National Show Jumping
Feature Performer – Sylvia Zerbini
Royal Two Horse Team Championship
Welsh Pony Driving

This performance offers special family pricing. Guests should arrive before noon to ensure parking availability.

2. One of the last days of the Culinary Academy

It's the final weekend to catch one-on-one cooking demos with some of Toronto's top chefs. Today's lineup includes:

Alida Solomon - 11:00 a.m.
Diala Canelo - 12:30 p.m.
Camille Moore - 2:00 p.m.
Craig Wong - 3:30 p.m.
Dustin Gallagher - 5:00 p.m.
Matt Ravenscroft - 7:00 p.m.

3. Endless adorable animals to keep kids enthralled!

Nothing brightens a day like hanging out with the cutest animals at The Fair. Today will continue to see showings of the SuperDogs, sheep herding dogs, the petting farm and quite literally hundreds of other up-close experiences with animals of all shapes and sizes. Fancy a Llama in a ridiculous costume? Yeah that probably will only ever happen at the Fair.

Lil' Ben, The Royal Ambassador / Mini Horse

We have too many fantastic segment and photo opps at The Royal, especially with Lil' Ben the tiny (yet feisty) horse. Care to meet the Royal Ambassador? We can for sure arrange that.
