The 2019 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair returns to Toronto, November 1 to 10

This November, the quintessential Toronto experience returns to Exhibition Place. Mark your calendars: from November 1 to 10, 2019, the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair will inspire audiences of all ages to "Get Agricultured".
From the majesty of the horse show to the spectacle of the agricultural competitions; from the gastronomic adventures of the Culinary Academy to the showcases of some of the finest livestock, horses and animals in the world - there's so much to see and do. The Royal is truly an unparalleled celebration of the very best in agriculture, local food, and equestrian competitions from across the country.
2019 Highlights: New Programming + Returning Favourites!
- NEW! RCMP Musical Ride (November 1-3) - An iconic symbol of Canada returns to The Royal after 10 years. The Musical Ride features 32 horses and riders, providing audiences with a unique opportunity to experience the heritage and traditions of the RCMP. Their performance consists of intricate figures and drills choreographed to music - movements that demand the utmost skill and control and showcase the unique bond between horse and rider.
- The Horse Show - Guests will see top calibre riders and horses, including a number of Olympians, competing at the highest level in Show Jumping, Indoor Eventing and Dressage. Be sure not to miss a special appearance by 'Captain Canada': celebrated Canadian Equestrian Team athlete Ian Millar will make his final performance at The Royal in this, his retirement year.
- Burnbrae Farms Culinary Academy - Learn to cook alongside some of Toronto’s top chefs in these hands-on cooking sessions daily throughout the 10 days of the Fair. Notable Chefs in this years lineup include Michael Bonacini, co-founder of Oliver & Bonacini, Alida Solomon of Tutti Matti, Anthony Rose of Rose & Sons, Carl Heinrich of Richmind Station, Cory Vitiello of Flock Rotisserie & Greens and Simon Renaud of The Hilton in Quebec. Even Amber Marshall, star of CBC’s long-running hit, Heartland will be leading a cooking session!
- Sylvia Zerbini (November 5-8) - Internationally acclaimed Sylvia Zerbini will demonstrate amazing communication and partnership with her magnificent herd of Stallions and Geldings in this mesmerizing Equestrian Ballet, part of the Royal Horse Show paid performances from November 5 – 9
- Craft Beer & Cider Awards (November 8) - Guests can continue The Royal celebrations by trying Ontario’s best crafted beers and ciders, with special musical guests throughout the evening.
- President’s Choice Animal Theatre - A fan favourite, guests can catch events including the exciting President’s Choice Super Dogs performing, collies herding sheep on command and demonstrations by the Toronto Police Mounted Unit.
- Pizza Pizza Petting Farm - A classic crowd favourite, especially for kids!
