1. Get Cookin' with Farm-Fresh Local Ingredients

Every day, here at The Royal, the city's top chefs share their knowledge with intimate cooking experiences at the Burnbrae Farms Culinary Academy. Chef Michael Bonacini was one of many to take the stage yesterday, mingling with aspiring amateur cooks during his hands-on cooking session. Each guest gets a fully equipped kitchen station with pans, knives and quite literally the best local ingredients, fresh from the farm. It's very encouraged to book ahead online, these sessions sell out!

2. After a 10 year hiatus, the return of the RCMP Musical Ride at the Horse Show Matinee

Starting at 1 p.m., the matinee is a family-friendly performance that includes:

The National Show Jumping Speed Competition
Pony Jumpers
The RCMP Musical Ride - An elaborate performance showcasing the equestrian prowess of the RCMP
Six Horse Hitches - See Belgians, Clydesdales & Percherons (these are top-calibre horses!)
Special giveaways for lucky guests

3. Adorable animals and awe-inspiring agricultural competitions

From a gargantuan 1,700 lb+ pumpkin (that's about half a Toyota Corolla!) to an adorable 11-day old lamb, there are so many perfect camera moments here at The Royal.

We're more than happy to set-up an interactive, personalized experience for you - from milking a cow to a special meet & greet with the 2019 Royal Ambassador - the miniature horse Lil' Ben!

Yesterday, Lil' Ben officially open the Fair, along with Mayor John Tory, CEO of The Royal - Charlie Johnstone and President and Chairman of The Royal, Robert Flack.
