ANNOUNCING NEW PRIZE MONEY FOR ROYAL DAIRY SHOWS

October 11, 2019 [TORONTO] – The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is please to announced that the National Black & White Holstein Show has been generously sponsored by Agriber Ontario Inc. They have agreed to sponsor the Grand & Reserve Grand Champions; Intermediate and Reserve Intermediate Champions and Junior & Reserve Junior Champions.  Agriber Ontario Inc. is presenting a total of $15,000 to the Champions.  In addition, industry supporters are contributing $1,000 in prize money for the 1st place animal in each of the 16 age classes and $500 for 2nd place animals.

The Royal also announces that Cowsmopolitan Dairy Magazine is a Supporting Sponsor of the 2019 RAWF Open and Youth Dairy Shows. Cowsmopolitan will be awarding $500 to the Grand Champion of the National Ayrshire, Jersey and Red & White Holstein Shows and is a breakfast sponsor for the TD Canadian 4-H Dairy Classic.

In addition, Quality Seeds has increased the prize money paid to the Dairy Supreme Champion to $2,000 and the Dairy Supreme Junior Champion to $1,000.  The Quality Seeds Dairy Supreme Championship takes place at 4:30pm on Saturday, November 9 in the Semex Ring of Excellence, Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place, Toronto.

The 2019 National Red & White Holstein show is Thursday, November 7 starting at 7:30am until 11:30 am.  The Heifer classes of the National Black & White Holstein Show are Thursday, November 7 from 6 until 9pm.  The National Ayrshire Show is Friday, November 8 from 7:30am until 2pm and the National Jersey Show is Saturday, November 9 from 7:30am until 3:45pm in the Semex Ring of Excellence.  The National Black & White Holstein Show is Friday, November 8 from 7:30am until 5pm in the Coca-Cola Coliseum, Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place, Toronto.
